Welcome back to another episode of the cooking show! Today I’m making my favorite black rice porridge that’s packed with antioxidants and nutrients that make a great start to any day. Plus, I talk about why black rice is a better option than refined white rice and what that means for cardiovascular disease, diabetes and gut health!

When I started eating paleo I found it so hard to make a switch with breakfasts. I LOVE cereal. And pancakes. It’s been years since I first started changing the foods I eat. I’m still fighting to make sure I don’t get bored with my meals!

If there’s anything I know about food – if you get bored you’re not going to want to put in the effort to continue making healthier choices. Me included.

Today’s Episode

So, today I’m talking about why black rice is a great food choice. I also discuss how we can take simple foods and reinvent them into breakfast foods. Colorful nutrient packed foods are exactly what we want to make sure we get more of for healthy bodies that age well and feel great.

If you’ve ever felt like you’d like to know more about eating healthier foods, getting simpler breakfasts and exploring new foods and ways to get them into your food routine don’t miss this episode!
