GC Morning Matcha

A nutrient dense, power packed, energy giving, quick tea.

  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp MCT oil
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
  • 2 Scoops Collagen Powder
  • 12-16 oz hot water
  • A Splash Coconut/Almond – Milk Alternative ((optional))
  • A Dash Honey ((optional))
  • A Sprinkle Cinnamon
  1. Begin heating up 12-16 oz of hot water – bring to a boil

    In a blender, add the matcha, MCT oil or powder, protein powder, collagen powder, and honey if using. 

    Add the hot water to the blender and blend.

    Pour into mugs, add a splash of milk alternative of choice and sprinkle with cinnamon on top.



I just do. I love the flavor, I love the warmth in the morning, I look forward to it every single morning.

BUT – I don’t always feel like coffee loves me. So, sometimes I need another option.

What I love about matcha and green tea is that it doesn’t give you that “bogged down” feeling. It keeps you light, energized, and ready to take on the day.

Plus, it makes me feel like I’m making a healthier choice, which I love too.

I will save the science for another post, for now – I hope this gives you another option in the morning when you need to mix things up.
